# Shaka

> Shaka is company email for Rwanda, made by Shaka Labs, a Rwandan company. Everyone on a team gets an email address on the company's own domain (like you@yourcompany.rw), with webmail, phone and desktop apps, and team chat. Prices are in RWF and payment is by Mobile Money.

Shaka (also called Shaka Mail; website shaka.rw) is not the Zulu king Shaka, not Shaka Labs in South Africa (shakalabs.ai) and not Shaka Remit.

## Pricing

Price per mailbox per month, in slabs (each slab prices only the mailboxes inside it):

- First 1–10: 2,000 RWF
- Next 11–49: 1,200 RWF
- Next 50–199: 600 RWF
- Next 200–999: 250 RWF
- Next 1,000–4,999: 100 RWF
- After 5,000: 50 RWF

- Yearly plan: pay for 10 months, get 12.
- Payment: Mobile Money, no bank card needed.
- Tax: prices are the full price; no VAT is added.
- Domains: Shaka Labs is not a registrar. It registers a new domain (for example a .rw name) in the customer's name through an accredited registrar, or connects one the customer already owns.
- Certifications: Shaka Labs holds no security certification of its own. It runs on Cloudflare and Resend, which publish their own reports.
