Agreement

These Affiliate Program Terms (“Program Terms”) are a contract between you and Shaka Labs for the Shaka partner program. They are effective 16 October 2026 and sit alongside the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Refund Policy. If they conflict with the Terms of Service on program mechanics, these Program Terms prevail for partner activity.

By creating a partner account or sharing a referral link, you agree to these Program Terms. You are an independent contractor, not an employee, agent, or joint venturer of Shaka Labs. You may not bind us or speak as us.

Who we are

Shaka Labs, a private company limited by shares registered by RDB, company code and TIN 156935461, registered office Kaminuza, Bugoyi, Gisenyi, Rubavu District, Western Province, Republic of Rwanda. Questions: info@shaka.rw or +250 799 762 749. The public site is shaka.rw.

Commission

You earn 30% of each successful organisation plan payment (monthly or yearly Mobile Money checkout) made by a client organisation first attributed to your link. That includes later renewals and seat upgrades for the same organisation, while you remain an active partner and the organisation keeps paying, unless these Program Terms end or change as set out below.

Commission is calculated on the amount the client paid, in whole Rwandan francs, rounded down. Admin withdrawals, failed or cancelled checkouts, and amounts at or below zero do not earn commission. The rate in force when the payment succeeds is stored on that commission row.

Attribution

The first valid referral that creates or claims an organisation keeps it. Later links do not steal that organisation. A first-party cookie (shaka_ref) may remember your code for 30 days across shaka.rw and mail.shaka.rw. We may also read a ref or via query parameter.

You do not earn on organisations you belong to, payments you make yourself, or a mailbox on the same domain as your partner mailbox. Suspended or unknown codes earn nothing.

Hold, refunds, and payouts

New commissions are held for seven days, then become available. If we refund or reverse the client payment before the commission is paid out, we void the unpaid commission. A commission already paid out is not automatically clawed back in the product; we may set it off against a later payout.

Payouts are in RWF to a Rwanda Mobile Money number via IntouchPay. The minimum payout is 5,000 RWF. You request the full available balance. Network and merchant fees on our side may apply. We may delay a payout if our Mobile Money balance is too low or the phone is invalid, and we pay it as soon as the problem is fixed.

Tax and identity

Partners are paid as independent contractors. We withhold 15% income tax from each payout and pay it to RRA, as Rwandan law requires, unless you show us that you are registered with RRA and have filed your latest income tax declaration.

We may ask for your full legal name and ID or TIN before paying you. You are responsible for declaring your partner income to RRA.

Conduct

You may not:

• Spam, scrape, or send unsolicited bulk messages about the program.
• Bid on “Shaka”, “Shaka Labs”, or confusingly similar trademarks in paid search or social ads.
• Show a client’s name or logo as a Shaka customer without that client’s written consent.
• Misrepresent pricing, features, or your relationship with us.
• Use cookie stuffing, forced redirects, or malware.
• Refer yourself or manufacture fake organisations or payments.

If you break these rules, we may suspend your account after telling you why by email. Commission earned through the abuse (for example self-referral or fake organisations) is forfeited; other earned commission is still paid.

Changes and termination

We may change the rate or these Program Terms for future payments. We email you at least 30 days before a change that lowers the rate or reduces your rights takes effect. Commissions already earned keep the rate recorded when the payment succeeded. Either party may stop participating at any time. When the program ends for you, we still pay commission you earned before that date, except commission forfeited for abuse.

Governing law

These Program Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda. Courts of competent jurisdiction in Rwanda decide disputes. Either party may ask any competent court for urgent relief, such as an injunction.
